Your LinkedIn profile is not your resume. It's more about who you are, how you think, and the value you bring to your clients. Your summary is a great place to really talk about your brand. You'll have content rich keywords in there that the search engines just love. So it has a double purpose.
Don't tell people where you've been - that's for your past experience section. Rather tell them who you are. Tell them how you help x solve y problem. And then use the rest of LinkedIn to share your expertise and position yourself as THE expert in your field.
Believe me when I tell you this - your competition is out there. When prospects go looking for solutions, you better show up or they'll go someplace else.
So how are you using LinkedIn to better position yourself and your business?
