Lemonade Lesson #5 - Choosing The Right Marketing Vehicle

**Due to the holiday on Monday, June 5th, this lesson is being brought to you on the 6th. Enjoy!
We had some technical difficulty so this is just going out. I apologize for the delay.

"There are various avenues for marketing and it is easy to get caught up in unproductive methods. The options are endless: from phone directories to the internet; from ad boards to magazine ads. But, what is right for your product or service and your audience?" excerpt from Lemonade Stand Selling

There are a couple of things to consider here. The first is this - what makes sense for you and your audience? You know who your target market is, right? So where are they? What makes sense for getting in front of them?

Are they active on the internet? Then you should be active there. Are they home owners? Then advertising in a local, community magazine may be the way to go.

Another thing to consider is to get creative. You want to be memorable. Sometimes that takes effort to think outside the box. You don't have to do what everyone else does. As a matter of fact, you shouldn't do what everyone else does. You want to stand out.

Pick a couple of avenues to explore and pay attention to what works. Marketing works best when done in concert with other efforts. You build energy and awareness around your business.
