Face to Face

I've encountered a number of people lately who share their marketing efforts with me. Most of them talk about how they are using social media. But not one of them says anything about active marketing/prospecting. No kidding!

What they tell me about is all of the passive marketing/prospecting they've implemented. Well, I'm a big fan of marketing of any kind. However, I do not believe you can be successful in this day and age by merely using passive marketing initiatives.

Folks, you have to get out the door and prospect face to face. You have to be in front of people. Passive marketing works when it is enacted WITH active prospecting.

I'd like to see all small business owners and salespeople create a sales strategy that includes elements of active and passive options.
