Checking In Is Good For Business

The other day I received a call from the manager of Domino's Pizza. He wanted to know how our experience was on Halloween.

Now, Halloween is their busiest night. As it turns out, we had an outstanding experience. The pizza came within minutes - much sooner than the time frame they gave us. It was hot, delicious and exactly what we ordered.

I was pleased to be able to provide such a glowing report. But I was more pleased to have had the opportunity. What a good idea - checking in with customers after an experience.

It let me know that they value our business. In a town with many pizza joints, the competition is strong. These guys really understand customer retention and service.
