Lately I've realized the value of clear, positive communication - verbal and nonverbal. How we communicate with others should directly reflect how we'd like to be communicated with.
It seems like a universal theme - when people dislike their job, many times it's because of the way they are treated; how they are communicated with. When people have a bad customer service experience, it undoubtedly is due to how they were communicated with.
The new golden rule is - treat others the way they want to be treated. When it comes to communication, I believe the old rule still applies as well - treat others as you would like to be treated.
Like they say - you can catch more flies with honey than vinegar!
